Hi! I’m Saffron. I’m 24-years-old. I have a passion for travel photography and experiencing new cultures.

In March of 2017, I left my flat in Sheffield, UK, and moved to Shanghai, China to teach English. After a year of living the ‘Hai’ life, I bought a 40L backpack and made my way back home to England by stopping off at countries in Asia along the way.

Destinations:

A 10 week trip across Asia –> Laos – Luang Prabang; Vietnam – Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh, Hue, Danang, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City; Cambodia – Phom Penh, Kampot, Siem Reap; Thailand – Bangkok, Krabi; Malaysia – Kuala Lumpur; Singapore; Sri Lanka – Colombo, Galle, Mirissa, Tangalle, Tissamaharama, Ella, Kandy, Dambulla, Sigiriya, Negombo; India – Delhi –> England

I’m a journalism graduate with an array of experience in print, broadcast, and digital; from small town newspapers, shadowing BBC broadcasters, to online fashion and travel app content. Now home in England, I’m currently working for the BBC in MediaCityUK.
